Jakarta - Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) memimpin rapat terbatas membahas rancangan peraturan pemerintah tentang pengangkatan tenaga honorer menjadi PNS, serta rancangan peraturan pemerintah tentang pegawai tidak tetap. "Kedua hal ini merupakan isu yang menjadi perhatian banyak kalangan. Pada periode pemerintahan pertama yang saya pimpin, sesungguhnya telah banyak kita lakukan pengangkatan pegawai negeri yang berasal dari tenaga honorer. Jumlahnya lebih dari satu juta waktu itu," kata Presiden SBY saat membuka rapat terbatas di Kantor Presiden, Jl Medan Merdeka Utara, Jakarta, Selasa (2/8/2011). Pengangkatan pegawai honorer menjadi PNS, menurut SBY, harus dengan persyaratan-persyaratan tertentu agar sistem kepegawaian di Indonesia benar-benar tepat dan baik.
